its like they watered it down ! i had to buy a used bottle to get the original colonge.it is a real shame.
I fell in love with Aramis! My husband of 50 years still wears it for me. He still gets compliments, and our three grown daughters say "that smells like dad". I stopped wearing heavy perfumes as Oscar and Opium because I enjoyed Aramis. Now, I don't wear any fragrance. Actually, I used Aramis soap on a rope for years. The fragrance is "timeless". It is the male version of Chanel--in a class of it's own!!!!
.I was working part time in a shoe store after school, as a senior...part of my school credit to graduate.
A sales man came into the shop and he was wearing Aramis. And as they say the rest is history. I started wearing Aramis at 17...I am now 67. Aramis has become a signature fragrance for me.
Over the years, however, it has changed. I had heard that originally it was made with real Musk Ox glands. It truly lasted all day and night, and there was a Cologne. Presently all I can find is the Eau de Toilet and it is not as lasting.
Until now I was buying it retail. The woman at the counter said they didn't stock it, but she could order it.
If that is true, could you find it? It may be more lasting than Toilet.
I have also seen "Aramis Reserve". What is that and how does it differ from the Tiolet?
My husband wore this fragrance 40 years ago and decided to use it again and loves it!
It has an exellent arome to use antime
